Dr. Clint Salo is a board-certified psychiatrist and dedicated medical professional who brings a deep connection to the Southern California community. Originally from Whittier, CA, Dr. Salo now lives in North Orange County with his wife and children. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2004. During his time as an undergraduate, he spent two years abroad serving in a volunteer missionary role in Santiago, Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish and developed a passion for cross-cultural care.
After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Salo pursued his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada, graduating in 2008. He then went on to complete his psychiatric residency through the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, with clinical training based in Las Vegas. In his final year of residency, he served as chief resident, representing his peers and demonstrating strong leadership in clinical settings.
Dr. Salo has since returned to his home region of California, where he continues to provide expert psychiatric care. His clinical experience spans a variety of treatment environments, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and independent living settings. At The Grove Recovery Community, he leads with compassion and clinical excellence, helping individuals reclaim their mental wellness.
